The moon in the night sky tonight was unusually bright. It was also eye-catchingly yellow, large and hanging unusually low.
DD eyed it the entire journey back from DDMum’s place and when we arrived home, he couldn’t resist the temptation. He grabbed a tripod, a telephoto lens and headed out.
He came back about half an hour later with some surprisingly clear moon shots, like this:
I was pretty amazed that it was possible to catch some much of the detail on the moon’s surface, craters and all. The images caused me to pause and again, marvel at the wonder and beauty of God’s creation.
It was a good way to end the Lord’s Day.
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also… And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.
~ Genesis 1:16 and 31

I can see the bunny in the moon! what a great shot. Also amazed at the globe like lines out from the top left – truly indescribable.
