Sometimes the best and most successful playdates are those arranged at short notice!
What started was a casual suggestion ended with 5 mummies and 10 kids on an outing to a newly opened trampoline park. Trampoline parks are great when you have restless kids on your hands. With Zoom Park Singapore the new trampoline park touted as the biggest in Singapore having just thrown open its doors, we were all curious and eager to go take a look.
It was fairly straight-forward getting there if you are travelling via the AYE as it is situated just off the Jurong Town Hall exit. The entrance is on Pandan Gardens just opposite Calvary Pandan Church. There is also a small parking lot there near the entrance to the trampoline park. I was glad to be able to grab a lot but if there’s none, I’m told there is parking round the back of the building, or street parking slightly further down the road.
We entered, paid on the spot, and walked to a nearby terminal to complete our waivers. Grip socks are compulsory so don’t forget them! Otherwise they can be purchased on-site for $2 a pair.
Once we got in, we were greeted with a huge expanse. So much jumping space! Indeed, Zoom Park Singapore boasts 2 dodgeball courts, a large 4-lane foam pit, 3 basketball slam dunk lanes with nets at 3 different heights, 3 long tumble tracks and just lots of space to jump around! There is also a rock wall which the kids gamely tried. Lots of stuff to do and there was something for everyone!

Bounce, bounce bounce! My kids spent a lot of time just jumping into the foam blocks!
Dodgeball! The boys had a lot of fun trying this out.
One thing I was a bit disappointed about was that it was really quite hot. I thought the venue was air-conditioned, but it isn’t. There are some air-conditioning units around but the only way you can get any serious cooling is by standing in front of them — which is what the kids did! At various times you’d find different children camped out in front of the air-conditioning getting some breeze and a breather!
Right in front of the air-con is the best spot!
Overall, Zoom Park Singapore was a lot of fun, with the variety of activities being a winner. I noticed that they have party rooms too, which would make this a great place to hold a party of hyperactive little kids! It is a bit of a hike for us to get here but I suspect we’ll be back since the kids are already clamouring to! The trampoline park scene certainly just got more interesting.
Sweaty, happy faces!
