Baby Goes Splish Splash

April 21, 2009 by Mummybean 7 Comments

The weather has just been hot hot HOT. Perfect weather for a dip in the pool. Perfect in fact, for Noah’s first swim in a real pool. So when Sophie invited us to join her Sunday afternoon swim, we packed all our stuff and our baby and headed over.

Given his previous experience, we were a little concerned that Noah wouldn’t like the pool. Our biggest concern? Which of us would get out of the pool with him if he didn’t like the water because BOTH of us sure wanted the swim! Haha.

Fortunately, we never had to draw lots on that because he LOVED the water, and was a bundle of excited kicks and happy shrieks in his new float.

“So you see, Godma, I really can paddle quite fast in this contraption…”

Splash splash!

“This is fun Daddy! Quit taking pics and come into the pool!

“You mean that’s it? Can’t I go back in again?”

Yay, I’m so glad he doesn’t dislike the water! Looking forward to more afternoons spalshing around to cool off on hot afternoons!
