Disney On Ice: Treasure Trove {Giveaway}

February 6, 2014 by Mummybean 59 Comments

In the blink of an eye, we’re into February. While a part of me keeps trying to put the brakes on everything and hold time back, another part of me can’t help but look forward to some of the exciting things that we have lined up for us in the months ahead.

One thing I’m certainly looking forward to in the March holidays is Disney On Ice: Treasure Trove! I caught Disney On Ice for the first time in many years last year when Disney On Ice: Princesses and Heroes rolled into town. It was the first time the kids were introduced to the whole gamut of Disney characters and what can I say? They were enthralled. I haven’t told them yet that we will be catching Treasure Trove in March but I know they’re going to be excited about it. Not the least because they’re going to be able to catch some of their favourite characters on the ice: Peter Pan, Captain Hook and Smee! (Yes, my kids are big fans of Jake and the Neverland Pirates!)

Treasure Trove promises to be an action-packed ice adventure, and apart from braving a battle against Captain Hook and his pirate pals with Peter Pan and the Lost Boys, audiences will be able to trek across the Pride Lands with Simba, Timon and Pumbaa, as well as enter the whimsical world of Wonderland with Alice. Other stories from the (ahem) treasure trove of Disney classics which will be featured include Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Frog Prince and Tangled. As with all Disney On Ice productions, crowd interaction is a key component so that everyone can feel like part of the action. By ready to be a part of the rhythm with Sebastian during Under the Sea, echo along to the crocodile’s ‘tick tock’ with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, and go shake Aladdin’s hand as he walks through Agrabah.
