How does a buffet breakfast by the beach with a private plunge pool at your fingertips sound? Sounds like the perfect way to start the weekend to me!
No surprises then that we were all too happy to head down to check out the new international buffet breakfast at Sandbank at Parkland Green. Available on weekends and on public holiday mornings, you get to feast on a spread that includes breakfast favourites such as bacon, sausages, and roasted potatoes, as well as eggs freshly prepared to your liking at an on-the-spot egg station. There was also a section of cold cuts, salad, cereals, and a range of juices. And for those with more local taste buds, there was Nasi Lemak which came with some pretty awesome crispy chicken wings! And prata with curry! And some surprisingly good porridge! (Yes, I love me my breakfast chook. I’m an aunty at heart!)
There was truly something for everyone, which is great when you have a family with diverse tastebuds!

Of course, food is not the only draw, especially with plunge pools just waiting to be explored outside. Once she was done with her food, Mei was changed and ready to play! I had the foresight to bring some toys along for her so she was well pleased and much entertained.

Noey on the other hand had no interest in the pool, not when the beach beckoned just beyond the restaurant! As soon as he could, he ran down towards the water and spent a lot of time happily messing about in the sand.

I think it’s safe to say we all had a great morning! It felt a little like being on holiday, which is how every weekend should feel!
