Mr Happy Throws a Party

September 22, 2009 by Mummybean 5 Comments

Happy Birthday Mr Happy!

Little Ellie turned 1 on 20 09 2009 — “such a nice date!” said his happy Mama — and we all turned up to celebrate. Merv and Amanda planned a cute little Mr Men and Little Miss party for their little Mr Happy and they and many of their friends turned out in full force in their matching tees. It was all very cute.

All the Mr Men and Little Misses came to join in the fun!

And what party would it be without Mr Noisy?

“I’m here! Now, where’s the party?”

After failing to find a tee for Noey, I was all prepared to print out the image of Mr Noisy on a sticker and paste it on him, when DD chanced upon these stickers at a store. While originally meant for ez-link cards, it worked perfectly, as long as I could get Noey to not peel it off his shirt.

We couldn’t stay for very long as DD and I had to head off for a wedding dinner later in the evening. And even though we had a heavy dinner ahead of us, we couldn’t resist pinching some of the yummy barbeque that Merv was whipping up. I only managed to get some of the sausages but they were oh-so-good. DD also had some of the mee siam and curry which kept him well satisfied.

Noey probably wasn’t so keen on the mash. I thought it was very good though!

The rest of the time was spent running around after Noey and catching up with all the other Mummies at the party. Yes, Mummies is what we’ve (almost) all become! It’s amazing how the little bubs have grown and I look forward to the day when they’ll be able to play with each other. Then maybe we can all eat in peace!

The next one will be Noey’s party! Here we come!
