And just like that, my baby is 2!
We’ve had a busy couple of weekends (and weeks) with Noey 2 birthday parties — the first with the dear Oct Babies the previous Saturday, and then with his own party on Saturday.
It’s been a couple of weeks of nostalgia as I try to grasp the thought that my baby is a little man now. It hit me particularly hard when DD and I came across some old videos of Noey taken about a year ago while DD was archiving stuff from his computer. (It was not a moment too soon actually becuase a couple of days later that computer crashed and while we managed to revive it, it seems rather wonky.) I just can’t believe he’s grown so much in a year. It was particularly funny watching the recordings of his first few words and snapping back to the present where he is constructing never-ending sentences with his favourite word, “and”.
From a wee baby to the wonderful, noisy, loving bundle of energy that he is now. Thank Lord for blessing us over these 2 years!
