Weekly Snapshot: Salad Baby

June 13, 2010 by Mummybean 6 Comments

Weird fact about Noey: He loves his vegetables. Like seriously.

Being a meat lover myself, I find it rather bizzare that Noey is actually more willing to try the vegetables offered to him than meat. He seems to like them better as well!

At a recent barbeque, he merrily chowed down piece after piece of romaine lettuce from the waldorf salad. And he showed that it wasn’t a fluke when he merrily ate the lettuce when I repeated the salad for a weekday dinner, and asked for more. Hmmmm, maybe he likes mayo?

Strange as it seems, I’m not complaining. At least I don’t have to worry about him eating his greens! Let’s hope he stays this way!

How nice! Xy's the complete opposite – she'd yell 'chicken! chicken!' at every meal. Once i tried to offer her a piece of vegetable and she told me with a straight face, 'rabbits eat vegetables', and went on to ask for chicken.

Lucky you! Both my kids hate vegetables, even though I fed them vegetables when they were infants. So…it's a good thing that Bean likes them!

Kudos to you man, my boy picks out the smallest shred of vege that I try to sneak in. Not a pretty sight!
