Determined not to let the year be a complete wash-out at the movies, on the eve of New Year's Eve, DD and I forced out some time and went to catch Avatar 3D.First movie caught in the cinema in 2009 on 30 Dec!Yes, it was our first movie date at the cinema since Noey. Goodbye 2009

Family Feasting Fun
We had our annual family Christmas dinner on the 26th this year. This is another staple on the family Christmas calendar. It's always good to catch up with the whole family over a table full of food. The Christmas morning madness at my parents' place is a family tradition. HK Day 2: Shopping

I love the evening light. That golden light positively makes everything it falls upon radiate with life. HK Day 1: The Journey and Home Base
Our plane ride to Hong Kong was Noey's 2nd flight and it definitely made more of an impression on him than his 1st flight to Perth, particularly since he has, in the intervening period developed a real interest in planes."Air-pae!", he would declare repeatedly when he hears the rumble of planes overhead.
