She’s here!

March 3, 2011 by Mummybean 21 Comments

I hit 39 Weeks yesterday.

Just the night before, I was commenting (ok, complaining) to DD how we were moving into uncharted territory, since Noey was born at 38 weeks and 6 days.

That very night, contractions started, and yesterday at 1313, our little Naomi came into this world.

I look at her with her chubby cheeks and her little rosebud mouth, and I can feel myself falling in love again. The feeling is a little surreal — it is not how I love Noey, not right now. Whereas I love Noey with a love that comes from knowing someone virtually inside out, with Naomi, I don’t know her. Not yet. I’m see her and she’s new to me. But when she is in my arms, I look at her and I know I already know her in my heart.

And just like that, we’re parents of 2!
