Our Bintan Weekend Getaway

We took a short 4 day-3 night holiday to Bintan a couple of weekends ago. It's been a while since our last holiday and DD was suffering from holiday withdrawal so when Sophie and her folks suggested going to Bintan, we jumped at the chance. Now that Noey has started to finally show an interest in the eating, I've been able to get him to do a bit of self-feeding, often with amusing results.Bottoms up!Yoghurt-face!Noey's favourite mode of eating is to use his hands and boy, has he been sticking them into everything these days! The day before we left on our trip, DD and I snuck out after putting Noey to sleep to have dinner, just the 2 of us, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Suddenly, after weeks of refusing virtually any food, Noey is eating like a champ. Opening his mouth and asking for food. Saying please to his porridge. Cleaning out his bowl and asking for more. Save for a few notable exceptions, everyone says that Noey looks just like me. My Aunt -- the same one who came by with some old baby photos last year -- recently gave me the remainder of my old photos which she had in her possession.
